Our Mission
The Six Strong Foundation Inc. educates and empowers service members, veterans, and military families by making complex policies, benefits, systems, and resources clear, trusted, and usable, giving people the knowledge and tools to act with confidence when the moment matters.
Working with, not simply for, the communities we serve, we combine lived experience, research, and trusted partnerships to identify barriers and build practical solutions to real problems.
Our Vision
We envision a military lifecycle in which service members, veterans, and military families have the knowledge, confidence, and tools to understand their options, navigate the systems that affect their lives, and make informed decisions for themselves and their families.
A future where trusted information reaches people when they need it, lived experience shapes better solutions, and organizations across the military benefits and support ecosystem communicate more clearly, listen more closely, and continuously improve.

Meet the Team
Driven by a mutual passion and shared vision to better the lives of military families through purpose-driven, creative solutions to everyday issues, Kristen & Emily came together. From the first day of intention setting, this small but mighty team put the Heart Work into the Hard Work, listening to the needs of military families and leaning into the community for support, resources and collaboration.
The Six Strong Foundation Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (EIN: 42-2464118). Everything we build (the Joint Services Scholarship Database, the Military Child Book List, and our partner collaborations) exists to put real resources in the hands of service members, veterans, and their families.
